Formica queens
A friend gave me 2 Formica queens and I put them together. One refused to lay eggs for months, therefore she had consumed all her reserved wing muscles, some abdomenal tissues, and even some head tissues! The poor girl. This makes her smaller and skinnier than her roommate. The smaller queen gave her new co-queen a little nip to show that she is the new boss. I decided to name the smaller/dominate queen Hera, (The queen of the Greek gods) and the submissive queen Aphrodite. (The Greek god of love and beauty). I think Aphrodite is better looking than Hera, in my opinion. And I fed them two days in a row and they ate like there was no tomorrow.

Re: Formica queens
They are still getting along. Their gasters are more balloted but I think that they might just have had more honey.
