Anyone have experience with Formica lasioides? (And a journal)
I recently acquired a small Formica lasoides colony from a friend with 1 worker. That was actually a result of a brood boost. She has 4 pupae, one of which is ready to hatch. I believe she ate her eggs before she was given to me, but I hope she lays more soon. Are they polygynous? Is there anything special I need to know in terms of keeping them? (There isn't much info on them online)
