HELP!possible parasitic phorid fly invasion on my ants!
Some strange, small flies started appearing in my ant terrarium of lophomyrmex ants.I have also been seeing more dead ants in the graveyard, and one or two dead ants have been appearing outside the graveyard. What do i do?
Do I move them?Or do i do something else?

https://www.antwiki.org/wiki/Phorid_Flies
Ant wiki says these flies dont affect lophomyrmex. But just to be safe you can place them somewhere else or if you have a lid for the terrarium use that

I cant really figure if it is one of those. Are they only around the enclosure or they are around light also? And you should keep the dead workers to see if something comes out of them. Just put a lid with fine holes that dont allow the flies to come in and keep them in a different place. Is there any leftover food like meat of something in their enclosure??

Sorry for the late reply! No, the flies are not attracted to light. No, there is no leftover meat in the terrarium. But there are some decomposing leaves.
