Heat cables with Omni Nests: Most people place the heat cable along one side of the Omni Nest, which allows for a heat gradient in the nest. As for oecophylla smaragdina, I would advise against housing them in an Omni Nest. Arboreal ants would do better in a larger terrarium of some kind with ability to climb and nest in plants.
