Watch out for small species though, they my escape through the hydration holes. To prevent this use a little bit of cotton to plug up th excess space.

Also i would like to point out that it will work out for all species but species like Pseudomyrmex that nest in hollowed out twigs might not be very happy because of the excessive amount of space. It all really comes down to the species your planning to move into it. I would say that you should make sure you DO YOUR RESEARCH on the species you are questioning. look up it's natural habitat for help.
