Omni Nest mesh

Hello everyone, I'm about to purchase an Omni Nest but I still have a doubt.
I'm planning on housing a very small species of ants, and I'm scared that the brood will fall trough the mesh and down into the hydration medium.
Does anyone know how thick the mesh is? The size in micron or mesh would be ideal.

Thank you in advance!

Do you mean a Hybrid Nest? Omni Nests don't have a mesh where ants could fall through into a hydration medium. The mesh used in the Hybrid Nest series is:

Hole Size (in): 0.011 x 0.011

Yeah sorry, I meant the Hybrid nest. Sorry for posting it here.
Thank you very much for you answer.
I'm planning on housing some small Solenopsis Fugax and their eggs look really tiny, smaller than 0.011 inches. Am I safe to go or should I consider buying an Omni instead of a Hybrid nest?

I'm sure that no egg could pass through that mesh. The mesh is so extraordinarily small. (I have one) I think you'd be fine.

0.011 inches = 0.28 mm. Are the eggs smaller than 1/4 of a millimeter?

I think they are, but I'll get a better measurement once my microscope gets home. I'll check that this Saturday.

So, they appear to measure about 200 microns, or 0,2 mm. The actual size may actually be smaller, but I want to be on the safe side.
I guess it's not safe to house my ants in the hybrid nest then...

This is a single grain of pink sand sitting on top of the mesh for my Camponotus nest. I would be highly surprised if you would have any issue with the mesh.
