Help...my kids want an ant colony!

Hi...
My kids are interested growing an ant colony. Today we caught two very large ants. I am not sure if they are queens or what the species is. We got to the test tube stage. Can anyone tell what we have here? The ants were caught in Southern ontario. Sorry for the picture quality.

I think it's a Lasius queen, but right click the image in google drive and select share, then copy that link here so people do not need to request permission to see it.

Seems to work now, Bat will probably tell you what it is for sure real soon.
But it is indeed a Queen for sure.
