Bad sign or good sign?
I've had this queen for about a week now and just gave it a little check-up. I found that her eggs were laid out everywhere and didnt really seem like she was tending to them. Is this a sign that she is infertile? If so, should I release her or am I just being impatient?

It might just be an untidy queen . Give it some time .KHaAnts wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2017 6:47 amI've had this queen for about a week now and just gave it a little check-up. Did she ever tidy up the little ones? Would like an update thanks.

Re: Bad sign or good sign?
My Camponotus queen doesn't tend to her eggs when I check her, because she gets so stressed out that she only focuses on escaping. She paces back and forth, moves her legs up and down, and waves her antenna in the air abnormally fast. She only tends to them when I'm not looking and she's in the dark. I've never seen her act naturally and non-stressed.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
