Yep that was one of them. I screen the applications the best I can but sometimes one slips thru but I check each day so I try to get the account and postings removed ASAP.

I think the biggest problem here is that AntsCanada is using phpBB, a freeware bulletin board package.

I'm a little surprised about this actually. AC should be large enough now to afford vBulletin. Forms generate content, and content generates customers. I'm not involved in the business obviously, but I would think the forums should warrant more resources and attention, no?

Just a heads up. I check the forums every night and delete the spammers that try to or make postings. There has been more as of late due to me setting the forums back to Self Approval via email. The other way I had it required that each and everyone that applied required me to verify them thru certain ways before approving them for the forums which in turn made the approval process longer. I was getting a lot of complaints on the time required to get approved so I went back to the email approval.

With that being said at times there will be a large attack of spammers trying to make false accounts to post spam on the forums, and like I said I clean it up every day. By others posting reports on this that helps makes the process faster and I thank those that do that.
