Greetings!
I have a question.
My Camponotus ants who have several topics concerning them, were fed protein jelly, it was devoured in less than 5 minutes by 3 workers who had bolging social stomachs. They then dispapeared into the tube and came out with empty stomachs. I checked and all the workers were empty… I repeated the process again but with more jelly. Same result. Is it possible the gave a protein jelly the size of twice their queen to the larvae? Or did they give it to the queen and I am going to have a whole bunch of eggs soon….
