Re: They did it!!!
I would say it is much too soon. Just keep them in the dark and wait for the colony to be bigger. With only 2 workers, it will be very difficult for the colony to get started. I suggest to wait until they have like 20 workers before attempting to put them in a new setup.
Also nice pictures.

It's good to know that you are preparing for your expansion but try to be patient with the ants. If they don't go to forage, then you might just need to keep the colony a little longer inside of their testtube. But you can plan the expansion ahead of time.
If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

Yesterday, a new worker arrived! totalling 5 workers!
I'm very excited, but as you said, patience is key.
I have a preocupation, that the water cotton has gotten moldy, i've attached a new test tube with clear water and a new cotton.
They are taking some time explorating, but i worry that the tape i used to connect the tubes might tear, loosen or be too tight.
Im thinking about using a rolled piece of paper, then the tape.
I don't really know what to do... Do you have any advice?

Re: They did it!!!
Well since they need to hibernate I would just try and shake them into the other testtube. But make sure they are both well attached not that the testtubes disconnect. Also don't use a piece of paper. The ants can grab onto it and you will have big trouble to shake them lose from the paper.

Re: They did it!!!
Not really. You should make sure they move over to the new test tube or you shake them into it. Of course don't spends a full week on this.
If you want to make sure, poke some very small holes through the tape so they get more than enough air. So unless you make it air tight sealed there shouldn't be any issue at all.

Re: They did it!!!
A little update:
Well, i managed to get them to the other side, they didnt get close to the water cotton yet, maybe its too wet? I dont really know
I've put some sugar water for food, i mean, they didnt eat anything for like 2 whole days (could not put food due to the tape and that the ants moved to the middle)
Im more relaxed now that the ants are in a clean enviroment, now the only thing i have to worry is about the humidity of the tube...
