Ants prefer the test tube with water instead of formicarium
Two days ago I moved my Messor barbarus colony from the old formicarium (which was construction-flawed) to the new acrylic formicarium.
The third day in the morning I noticed that ants moved to the test tube with water... What should I do in this situation? To tell the truth I'm really confused...
PS. this new acrylic nest was properly watered (sponge).

I think they just prefer the small space. I'd recommend giving them some time.

I have sort of the same problem lol.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]
