Hey guys quick one,
Just got my first queen a few days ago and I noticed today she has been pulling at the cotton on the water side of her test tube.
Should I be concerned that she's not reaching the water adequately or is this common for making a better area for her eggs or something?
Thanks for any insight

Many ants do this, it's probably because they wanted to try and escaped or make more space so they feel comfortable.

You can try but if she still pulls the cotton then just leave her alone for a week, usually queens would stop when they feel exhausted.Wargonsnarf wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 9:34 amI can pull the cotton back a bit from the entrance to give her some more space? I'm reluctant to disturb her to much at this point though
