Ants Dying in Test Tube

Hi Everyone! I'm new to ant keeping and would love some help! I live in Vancouver and just received a shipment of Lasius neoniger ants and after about a week they started dying, the temperature in the room is normal with a heating strip nearby. I was told to move them in about 1 month. I have a formicarium starter kit which I am looking for a tube that connects from the formicarium to the test tube without pressuring the ants into their new home. Last time I did this, it didn't work...
Need help please!

Thank you! :)

Does the colony have a queen? Sometimes after a move ants will start dying because they are stressed.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony

If the queen is stressed she could start eating eggs you also need to watch out for mold, too much heat, or even parasites.
What are you feeding them?

I can't see any eggs, I think the temperature is just right... I recently gave them a small baby spider that I caught.

It could be possible that the spider was contaminated in some form (pesticides, disease, bacteria).

Hmmm, could be. I dont think so tho, because they were fine afterwards too, plus it was a baby spider :P and the ants did enjoy eating it xD

Im so dumb, I forgot to put the spider in the fridge and now most of the workers are either dead or stuck in web... sigh.
