New Ant Keeper Looking For some Info

Hello everyone. My name is Brandon and I have been interested in keeping ants for years but have never knew to much. With help from the channel and much research I have decided to start my own ant colones. Now I have watched the videos about catching a queen and identifying the queens and have had no luck even finding one. I have only found major workers and some smaller workers in my travels. Now being new to this I have no Idea when the Ants in my area start their nuptial flights. If there are any England ant keepers out there could you help me out and give me a time when it would be best to search for a queen.
For my first colony I was looking to get a species of camponotus carpenter ant. I have seen them around my house many times and think they will be a good ant to keep for my first. There are also lots of Tetramorium caespitum in my downtown area, but sadly have never seen them flying.
If anyone has some information and is in the new England area please reach out to me.
Thanks

Well if the weather is anything like it is in the Netherlands right now, you've had a spell of dry warm days. Wait for the next rain shower. Ants will likely start flying as soon as it is done

Thank You for the advice. I have been searching for weeks and it has been hard searching. I did get a break just before a few days of rain. My sister and I found two Campo queens by my house last week. Sad to say that the one I found died the next day. I thought it was to miss care, but then I found some small worms trying to crawl out of her. So she must have been grabbed by a wasp or got some kind of worm. On a good note the other queen (I named her Jessica) is doing really well in her test tube and has a batch of eggs. I have not counted because I do not want to disturb her.
Thanks again for the help :D
