At the begining i would feed
Them small foods like a fruit fly is popular or a cricket leg. Some thing one worker can carry. You should feed them in small increments until they stop taking food. Then you can wait a week before feeding them again. A larger colony feed them every 3-4 days at most. They can go for several weeks without food but it could be bad for the developing brood slowing growth.
