Last Saturday, I caught a cephalotes Texanus queen by luck.
I'm wondering how do I start the colony with the queen?
What do I need for her?
Is she is a semi or a fully claustral?
What does she need to eat?
Is the AC test tube portal a good start?
Anything will help. Thank you, have a nice day

A test tube is fine in the beginning. She won't need more space until she has a fair amount of workers.Jdavila119 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 2:10 amLast Saturday, I caught a cephalotes Texanus queen by luck.

Not sure about how claustral she is, you'll have to check on that. Small insect (parts) and honey should do.
