Hello,
Recently i have just moved my camponotus ants, around 100 workers from a AntsCanada outworld into a bigger outworld that i had put together myself. When they had been in the old outworld there would be atleast 6 out at once foraging and such but now that they have moved it is rare to see one outside of it, what is happening?

A small colony such as yours does not require massive amounts of food. Often times they will send many workers out to forage and collect a lot of food, and then retreat to their nest and do not forage for a while. And I would assume that since Camponotus are known to have repletes (workers specialized in storing food in their bodies), they would forage even less than other species that do not have repletes.Zene12 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:15 pmHello,

"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25

Thanks for the info! I do see one out at most but just was weird seeing six always in the other outworld.
