Nest moving help

I have a colony of L. Niger that I want to move into a new nest. I've hooked up their new nest to the old one, but they haven't gone in yet. Also, their old one is a sand nest that i can't see inside. Any ideas? :?:

Sand as in they dig their own tunnels? You will probably never get them out lol. The only thing I can think of is flooding their nest. But obviously that comes with a lot of risk. Or alternatively never ever water their sand nest and hopefully it gets so dry they move into your new nest.

Got mine to move out of the sand with 3 lamps and time. They moved back and forth a few times but eventually moved out.

No,light. Use light not heat.
