1. Nordic ants says that they will fly somwhere between june and agust.

2. They are called pavement ants for a reason, they often build nests under the pavement in citys and have adapted well to live among humans.

3. I have never caught any ants since i got into antkeeping last summer right when the flights were over... so i cant really answear that question but i think they are quite common and easie to find.

Tetremorium is quite common and easy to find and you can find them by just taking a 5 minute walk on the side walk during their flights and even find queens up to 2 weeks after! If you still can't find any try looking on you car in the morning where you can find hundreds of alates stuck to the car. Still can't find them? try looking in birdbaths pools and other water sources.
