Hi guys I had decided to put this in a sepearate post from the polygynous species as I did not want a long page of boring names. In choosing an ant colony, I also focus on the polymorphism of the ants. It's so cool to see the super major and the small minor ants riding them in the AntsCanada YouTube channel So I had compressed a list of polymorphic ants for you guys to refer to in the search of suitable ant species to keep.
Note that these sources are both external and from this forum too. Feel free to tell me anything that could be added or deleted from this list! Excuse my spelling
Polymorphic ants:
-Crematogaster clariventrus
-Crematogaster diffirrnis
-Camponotus sansabeanus
-Camponotus semitestaceus
-Camponotus pennysylanicus->quite popular according to my search
-Camponotus herculeanus
-Camponotus subbarbarus
-Camponotus colobopsis
-Camponotus modoc
-Solenopsis xyloni
-Solenopsis invta
-Solenopsis amblychilla
-Solenposis aurea
-Pogonomyrex badius
-Colobopsis
-Formica exsecta?
-Myrmecoeystus
-Tetramorium immigrans and Tetramorium caespitum
-Apharnogaster occurentalis?
-Messor barbarus
Note that most pheidole are dimorphic and not polymorphic
Again pls excuse my spelling there's probably a zillion mistake

Re: Polymorphic species
Solenopsis geminata, Formica obscuripes and many other closely related parasitic Formica species are polymorphic too. And do not forget Carebara diversa.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
