Hi guys! So let's jump straight into the topic. When I look for what colony suits me, I look out for a main thing: is this species polygynous.I like a huge colony of ants and this I had compressed some of the species that all of you had listed out and some external sources.Here are they:
Polygynous:
-Formica cinerea
-Formica balcanina
-Formica lugubris
-Formica ulkei
-Lasius flavus
-Linepitherma humile
-Monomorium ergatognya
-Monomorium pharaonis->new queens easily accepted
-Myrmica rubra->highly polygynous
-Nylanderia Spp.
-Pheidole megacephala
-Solenposis molesta->new colony accept queens while old colonies don't
-Tapinomia melanocephalum
-Tapinomia sessile
-Monomorium emarginatum
-Solenopsis invicta
-Camponotus vicinus
-Brachymyrmex depilis
-Temnothorax
-Tetramorium immigrans and Tetramorium caespitum-> both does not do so well
-Solenposis molesta
-Pachycondyla striata
Please excuse my spelling and feel feee to tell me any more ants species that are polygynous
