How would I pre kill the insects that I am feeding to my ants? Would I boil them? Also I keep seeing people cutting off the heads of crickets before feeding them to their ants, why is that? And lastly what kind of honey should I be feeding them?

Freeze the crickets before feeding them because even if u cut the head it will still be moving

Kill all bugs by freezing. It’s the most humane way unless you just squish them flat, but then it’s a mess.
Keeping:
Tetramorium immigrans * Lasius Neoniger * Lasius Claviger * Messor Aciculatus * Myrmica Rubra * Camponotus Novaeboracensis * Camponotus Turkastanus * Pheidole Pallidula
