Which one... or two
Hello, I have been successful this year in catching multiple queens. They are in test tube setups and all but one recent catch have produced workers. I have the following Formica, Lasius Americanus, Tetramorium sp. e, and a campobotus (no workers yet.) I currently have one small omni nest and open to buy another formicarium. I was wondering which species would be best to keep? I know it may come to personal preference but I welcome your opinions.

it seems that all of your colonies are young so you should be able to keep all of them if you have enough test tubes. also i find it's best to have several colonies going at once in the start until they are at least 1 year old so just in case a accident happens you can still have backups

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'll try that.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
