So, 2 of my recently caught Formica Podzolica queens just layed eggs!
And well I'm new to ant keeping and if everthing goes well, they'll be my first ant colony. So i need general info on how to take care of that species, and the queen.
I live in Grande Prairie, Alberta. CANADA
And mostly how long does it take for an egg to develop?
Formica Podzolica Info please

Re: Formica Podzolica Info please
in my experience it takes a little more than a month from an egg to turn into a worker. care is easy for that queen alone because she is fully-claustral, but when she has her first few workers you should start feeding the colony weekly. Remember it is very important to check up on the queen/colony as little as possible, i recommend every week.
