Hello so my ant colonies are really taking off now my campo queens has 8 workers now and tons of brood my tetra queen has around 5-7 workers and my Formica has a lot of brood with no workers unfortunately my other colonies except for the wild caught one have died :cry: anyway so far the colonies main food has been nothing but honey I know they need protein but I haven't been able to get them any insects I recently put in some really small cut slices of turkey I was wondering if that's ok and what other foods I can give my ants for protein as the sugars are easy to give them.

Of course, insects from a pet store are preferable, but I have heard that fish food can work as a *****.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
