Have a look at the GAN project.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

I check it about once a week but that doesn't mean people put their Queens or colonies they have for sale on the GAN project. I live in Oklahoma and in the Southern part of Oklahoma, you can get Solenopsis Invicta there. The fact that I am willing to drive 5 hours to buy or get one should say something.

If there are none on the GAN project there is a low possibility you will find one. :? You could try to catch a queen yourself.

Cant really catch Queens when they arent in my area. I have never seen Fire Ant colonies in my area, been living here for quite awhile now. From what I have read they are in the southern part of my state, which is about 3-4 hrs away.

Well, you said you're willing to drive 5 hours, why not? It's not hard finding queens. Besides it's almost Solenopsis nuptial flight season. Try going in April, as the bulk of Solenopsis mating happens then. I found an Invicta Queen early, but I am in Texas so it's warmer, and the ants woke from hibernation earlier too, i guess.

Okay, well I will still keep asking on here and see what I can find out in the world of other sources and look around here. You never know I may be blind and can't see very well.

I hope you find a solution. Nuptial flights for many ants are coming, so just be patient. You'll find a way! :D
