Ant Farmers in Vancouver, BC?

Is anyone from the Greater Vancouver Area?
I'm looking to find any ant keepers in my area.

Yo, im in vancouver also, just started this year by catching a tetramorium queen.
There isnt much to do right now but come spring i hope we can coordinate ant sightings and find out which parks have which ant species! I would really like to have carpenter ants too because I hear they are huge.

I just stumbled across this and was wondering if that sightings thread ever took off? I know it's 2 years later, but I just caught a Camponotus sp. in Richmond a couple blocks from the Ikea near the river. There's definitely a nest nearby because I've seen one or two workers.
Does anyone know if that's far enough away from the colony? M'lady still has her wings on and I feel like I should just release her back into the gene pool.

if she is not near the entrance she should be fine

Just started my own colonies. Camponotus, Tetramorium, Lasius, and 1 very young colony of fired ants.
