I cant find any queens lately (PLZ HELP)

So Ive been looking around my area for queen camponotus and formica ants but can barely find anything, Richmond had a heat wave and it hasn't rained in a while so is it that the reason? or am I just not looking in the right places. If anyone lives nearby or in a similar area please give me your tips for finding camponotus, formica, and other queen ants.

Try to find queen ants at the start of each season,i find it best during the start of the rainy seasons.try to search in pavements where there is a lot of vegetation at the side of it. Sry for bad english

yoooo whats up!!! i live in richmond too!! ik its so hot and there hasnt been any rain! although for some reason, a couple days ago i found so many queens right in front of my house!!! i caught 11! i wish i caught more cuz it lasted for 2 nights

either lasius or formica, im not too sure, i posted a short video on youtube, maybe you can identify them for me lol
(i will tranfer them to a test tube set up once it comes in the mail)

of course we can! once i get test tubes from the mail, and the eggs hatch into healthy workers they will be ready!

I didnt know if u know but u need to be 18 to be a GAN farmer and proof of residence is just to ensure that you are not lying about where you live. Do you not know your own address?
