Re: Nuptial Flights Europe (Eurasia)
This is a message for all UK ant keepers. With the long awaited rain finally arriving this weekend everyone should be vigilant. Personally I'm looking for Myrmica. Plus our grass might finally turn green once again!

If anyone in UK would like Lasius Niger queens hit me up, once they eggs hatch I will get on that GAN thingy, I caught more than I would need in the prospect in passing them on for anyone who couldn't catch any, I will only be asking for cost of tube, cotton, food and postage so keep an eye open, only problem is I don't really have a camera now, my phone got nicked about a week ago, there is a pic of the 1st 3 I caught somewhere on the forums though

More Lasius flights for southern UK! Seen both L.Flavus and L.Niger! Loads of Myrmica colonies out to seize the bounty. Now I can keep my eye out for their nuptial flights too

Hi Everybody!
Back from camping and i spotted soooooo many Lasius niger queens! I don't need any but it was amazing! I also found a queen of another species which needs ID (make a proper post).
It's nice to see that everybody has found so many queens! One of mine died while i was gone but it wasn't my Formica which really is nice coz' i have another pair of Lasius niger queens that are doing better that fine!
