Minnesota nuptial flights

Re: Minnesota nuptial flights
Update: I just caught a camponotus noveboracensis queen!!!
Re: Minnesota nuptial flights
I've caught a couple more novaeborecencus over the last couple days! Seems their nuptial flight is in full effect (perhaps a bit delayed this year due to the colder weather).
I'm hoping to catch a pennsylvaniacus as well and perhaps a tetramorium immigrans. I doubt I could keep more then 2 colonies at the moment but I have no GAN farmers in my area and just having the experience of catching different species under my belt as a new ant keeper would be rewarding enough!

When do you all think we will see some flights around here? We are currently having a very warm winter, but I don't know if we will see and flights until late March.
