If you are currently in Connecticut, look outside. The large swarms of small ants have stopped mostly, but the less compact swarms of larger ants, including carpenter ants is going strong. I have noticed at least 4 or 5 different species of ants in the process of a nuptial flight within the past hour or so.

I am now going to go back to watching....
