Camponotus Castaneus
I recently found this ant species that I really like. I realized that they live in parts of my home state (New York) which made me excited. But I don’t know where I might find them. Since it’s near the end of nuptial flight for camponotus queens, im wondering where I might look for some that have already found a place to birth their nanitics.

Try peeling up bark on dead trees or flipping up rocks.TbroGaming6683 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 6:09 pmI recently found this ant species that I really like. Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
