Today, in North East Iowa, I found a nuptial flight of Prenolepis imparis. I also managed to catch a mated queen!
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!

I think they are, because they were wingless, but they have not laid any eggs yet. I'll keep you up to date.
