Am, 1 or two are cleaning their gasters, are there still flights left to take place for tetramorium?
I caught 6 tetramorium queens June 30th at about 6-7 am, there's probably going to be a flight or two in July. Keep looking!

Caught something yesterday, too big to be Tetramorium...I'll admit I'm not too good at identifying ants I haven't seen before. Sadly she died soon after capture, pretty confident she wasn't a drone since she didn't have wings. It was near late afternoon in northern Illinois. I did see another dead in a spider's web so I assume something was flying that day.

(2) Tetramorium Imimgrans

Anyone finding queens lately? i know it's a bit late but it would be cool to see people find some late finds to see what fly's at this time of year.

I've been catching those in the dells and middle parts of Wisconsin, they're definitely, just heat and rain and you should be able to find some.

Hey! Long time listener, first time caller. Does anyone know if there are any queens still out there in the Chicago area? Just not sure if I'm too late or not. Thank you!

Anytime after a rainstorm is a great time to be out and looking. They will still be flying for awhile.
