I haven’t seen much talk about nuptial flights in the colder Midwest states this is for any nuptial flight sighting in the upper Midwest more in the colder areas

I’ve only seen lots of lasius umbratus and have caught a few hoping to introduce them successfully to some lasius neoniger

Good luck with introduction! I have heard it can be difficult. ;)

I have like five different colonies I’m trying to introduce all in different ways but I think one successfully introduced I have her some larvae and like five workers she’s caring for and she’s carrying the larvae like it’s her own so let’s hope😆🤞

Formica fusca does not live in America, so it must be Formica subsericea.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
