Inquiring ant keeper

Hi I’m located In the Rhode Island area, and I was wondering if there were any other ant keepers near me? If so I was wondering when do ants roughly start their flights. Also I’m looking to catch a queen this season as there are no breeders in my area. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

Ants start flights depending on humidity and temperature, usually around mid spring or summer.
