Re: Lasius Niger UK nuptial flight.
After the rain yesterday all my nearby Lasius Flavus colonies have dug to the surface and made large entrances, I'm expecting an imminent nuptial flight!

Re: Lasius Niger UK nuptial flight.
Managed to pluck plenty of Lasius Niger queens from the ground in Hertfordshire over the past week in Hertfordshire, UK.
Does anyone know whether any other species will fly at the same time as the Lasius Nigers, or do they all fly at separate times?
Expecting some Formica over the next few weeks but hoping for a camponotus. Fingers crossed I haven't missed em all.
