im new to ant keeping and live in alabama. when will i find queens.

April thru September on Solenopsis (fire ants), not sure on the others.

C pennsylvanicus are flying right now. Found one yesterday, and one today. Was not even looking for ants, just happened across them.. tonight would probably be good if it is not raining and storming. Planning on going to a parking lot, under street lights. If they are flying I can usually find 5 or 6 pretty quick, of those and C castaneus.
