Hey, Sorry I haven't much information about the ant, as well as that I couldn't identify it.

But today I was walking around a park hunting for ants just to see what was in my area. I saw one with wings a pounced to it. Put in my vial. I looked at it and determined it was a Male, Slightly disappointed I released it, But that means that a Nuptial Flights are starting. So I'm excited for that!

IF you do wanna know details, about 4mm in length and black, that's all I could get, I Will be sure to bring a camera next time.

Either it was happening or about to happen. Or the guy got list when preparing for the nuptial flight. ;)
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
