Pogonomyrmex occidentalis flying July 11-20 in Nevada
Found alot of fertile pogo queens the night of july 11th and have been finding them here and there at all times of day and night since then. This was in central Nevada, Northwest of Tonopah, and was near irrigated fields. There hasnt been rain for over 3 weeks and there isnt much forecasted for a while. The queens might have flown from the nearby fields, however records have shown queens of this species to fly around this time of year

This is the problem with clearing unanswered topics. I cant reply fast and in posts like these, i don't have a real answer which is sensible (i could just write "thanks" or "cool" but then i would have to awkwardly wait for a minute)
