Hey all, anyone seen any sign of winter ants yet? Particularly in BC, CAN. Still pretty cold and snowy in many regions but it must be getting close! Missed it last year

I have been wondering that too. I have not seen any yet but I am new to ant keeping so I don't really know what I am doing. Hoping to find some soon though. :)

so last year how i found the nuptial flight is I found the nest of a colony before hand (it should be easy since they're the only ants active). then I watched them on every day above 60 degree's Fahrenheit. you should days before see males near the entrance and even running around it a bit.
