I was beginning to think I had missed the Monomorium flight here in Salt Lake. It finally occurred in a nearby city. I was able to collect 25 queens or so in about a half hour.

I doubled up a few of them. Just one still had wings (shown in pic).

Can all sp. of tetramorium have multiple queens? Or more specifically sp. E :D
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

I changed the title of my post from Tetramorium to Monomorium. Pretty sure they are Monomorium. Monomorium are polygynous. Not sure which species of Tetra are though ??
