Hi!
I biked out to my favorite marina here on the outskirts of Washington DC and found four crematogaster queens crawling on my picnic table. We had big rains Friday and Saturday night. So stoked!

Nice! How many did you catch?

Ectatomma Ruidom
Pheidole Reclusi
Dorymyrmex Insanus
Odontomachus Erythrocephalus

All in founding stage ;)

I had three containers on me, so I caught three. I'm praying at least one will make it through hibernation.
Can anyone give advice on how to handle them? I put all three in TT setups with a drop of honey on their cotton. I guess I'll wait till October or so and then transfer the gals into the fridge.
