Have a look at the GAN project.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

As suspected, my Queen was infertile from last year, so released her in favorable conditions late August.
Anyone seeing anything yet this year?

I've been looking quite a bit. Unfortunately I found a dead Camponotus Penn. Queen while at work on a roof. I saw last week one winged novaeboracensis with a super major and just one male a few nights ago. I'm hoping I get a couple this year usually when I catch one their are many around.

In Central NY finally Camponotus Novaeboracensis! Just caught one on the way into the store. It is humid but 90 degrees! Hoping you find more at home where I live in the woods.

I have only seen one brachymyrmex queen, idk if it was from a flight it was just a dark brown one on the side of a shed. When I had tried to capture her, she had quickly escaped into a crack in the wood and I never saw her again lol.

I have so many I stopped collecting them. They take up 50% of my 50 tubes.
