Solenopsis nuptial flights in Massachusetts

Does anyone know of a Solenopsis Sp. flying right now in MA.

Some sources claim that you can find Solenopsis or Fire Ants in Massachusetts, but I have never seen them here (I live in a neighboring state). Fire ants typical like warmer dryer climates so I doubt you will find them. Sorry . However there are other species that are going through nuptial flight. Oh they are very much here I live in Mass and I had the pleasure of sticking my whole hand into a nest by accident while digging a new patio. Let me tell you not fun. What you will have better luck finding them probably around May June Don't know about Queen's though
