Yea I don't think I'll be looking for any more queens. 100+ is more than enough!

Don't you want a variety of sp.? 100 Queens is a good amount but of all the same sp. :o :D
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

Oh I would LOVE to have a Black Carpenter ant colony, but I just don't have the time to go tromping around the woods looking for them. Also would love a leaf cutter colony but there are none in Alabama. :(

I have a large black carpenter ant colony living in the ground on a fence row in my back yard. They might have already done their nuptial flight already. So I go out everyday looking for any males or females around the entrance to their home.I give them sugar water every three days and they drink it all by next morning.
