Cannot Find Any Ants.
Cannot Find Any Ants.
I have trouble finding any ants on trails in South California, San Diego County. If I do find any ants, they are less than a millimeter in length. I cannot find a single ant on the property I live on. Is there an explanation for this? I have searched a hiking trail, a biking trail, but no ants exist.

hmmm. thats so weird. I have no Idea. maybe theres another ant keeper on this forum who lives in our area that can help you out!

I live not too far from the coast. Humidity is not too low or high.

Yeah, try looking under rocks and logs.

Maybe too many pesticides as well? I doubt even that would kill of all the ants...
