Our Camponotus Colony

Out of the two healthy Camponotus Pennsylvanicus queens I've managed to catch (I work in a woodshop and caught several that were very weak so I released them). Today marks the birth of the original captured queens first Niantic worker. Even better news, as I was trying the last two days to move her and her brood to a new tube since hers was drying out, we managed to catch the "birth" on video. Once it is done uploading to youtube, I'll edit this post to include the link!
Happy keeping, and Ant Love Forever

Update, just checked 2nd queen that was kept in the dark and she's got her first Niantic as well! Two foundings at the same time.

As promised, the video.
Skip to 8:30 to skip the queen chewing apart the casing to where the workers head I'd fully visible.
Skip to 9:30 to start off where the queen unceremoniously dumps the worker head first out of her casing.

My wife's Galaxy S7. We were very surprised by the quality as well. It was really cool to see everything not only in person, but to also glance down to see so much detail.

Just checked it on my end, still worked for me. Is there another way of attaching it?
