A week ago i found 2 prenolepis imparis queens. I put them together in the same tube and looked in a week later and BAM! eggs. :D one of the queens took off her wings and one of them still has the wings on.(Though i know she mated because i watched it)

Oh! sorry, i thought i updated this!
so about two or three weeks ago the queen with wings died.
i took her out and then the other queen decided to start laying like 30 eggs! she already had eggs before and now she has a pretty large egg pile. I don't really know if they have hatched into larvae yet but i assume some did.

It has been really uneventful for this queen

But i have a name for the colony! the breath of winter!

well i'm sorry but the queen had her first worker and i gave them some sugar water. sadly though the next day they were dead. i have no idea how. I just seem to have terrible ant keeping luck.
